Delete your Trailhead account

Delete your account and its associated Trailhead data from the app, or send us a request if you no longer have access to the app.

How to make your request

In the Trailhead app

  1. Open Profile, then Settings.
  2. Choose Delete account.
  3. Confirm your identity and type DELETE to finish.

Without the app

  1. Email us from the address connected to your Trailhead account.
  2. Write that you want your Trailhead account and associated data deleted.
  3. We will verify that the account is yours before completing the request.

Never send your password, sign-in code, or payment information.

What happens to your data

Deletion removes your Trailhead profile and sign-in record, trips and saved places, planner conversations and travel preferences, reports, comments, photos, support content, credits, and device notification tokens from active Trailhead systems.

Public contributions or awards that must remain understandable to other travelers are detached from your identity or labeled as coming from a deleted user. Encrypted backups expire through their normal rotation and are not returned to the live product after deletion. We may retain only records required for law, fraud prevention, security, or dispute handling for the applicable legal period.

Subscriptions and outside services

Deleting Trailhead does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google Play. Cancel it separately in your app-store subscription settings. Apple, Google, and payment processors may retain their own transaction records under their policies.
